Helpful
information:
The above
basic room setups are sound principles for enhancing the performance.
It is not an absolute requirement to have all of the items listed
above however, they will add value to a complete presentation
for the meeting planner. If you have questions about any of them,
please contact us at (866) 307-5254 or 702.541.6992.
1. For getting the best audio results, use your
own speaker sound system rather than iiiiithe
speakers in the room ceiling. The quality of sound will be much
higher.
2. Use speakers in the front, middle, and rear
of the audience. Also whenever recording iiiiithe
session, insure to put microphones in the audience to pick up
audience response.
3. Based on the shape of the room, set the stage
area in the middle. Be careful not to iiiiisituate
the audience too far from the speaker. The closer the audience
is to the iiiiispeaker without closing
in on the speaker’s comfort zone, the better.
4. Use additional light sources for presenter.
Studies have proven that the audience iiiiidisplays
a greater attention level when the speaker is spotlighted.
5. Do not overset the room. If you are planning
on 100 people, set the room for 100. It is iiiiibetter
to have every seat taken. Large, empty spots throughout the audience
will be iiiiiviewed negatively.
6. This is a must! Ask attendees to turn off
PDA’s, pagers, cell phones, and other iiiiipossible
alarms before beginning the session.
7. If given the option, select the backdrop carefully
as to accentuate the speaker.
8. Use music in your program when appropriate.
