How many in here work for other people? By a show of hands. How many in here work for themselves by a show of hands? Ok do me a favor, everybody stand up, just for a moment. Turn around look at each other and tell each other that you work for yourselves. Every single one of you in this room, you are all working for yourselves. Even if someone else has the name on the paycheck, take ownership, just because someone else has their name on the paycheck does not mean that its not your business.

You don’t have to tell me the company you work for, but was it like direct deposits with that job, can you like have your check go in the bank, you don’t even have to cash it? Can you do that?
(Response) No
We will talk to you later, we will get some direct deposits set up for you. That is what I used to have when I worked for others. My point is this: You work for yourself no matter or not whether you have a company name behind you and the moment you get that in your head, you can all do anything you want to do and I’m living proof, I am going to prove it tonight.

I’m not surprised to see that you totally get this concept! I was fortunate to enjoy what I like to call the 5-Minute Hour (this is when an hour goes by and it feels like only 5 minutes has passed) times 2 recently. Humor does serve well when you are speaking to a room full of eclectic souls. I like to call it ‘Edutainment’ where education meets entertainment, thus making the learning environment rich with expectation and wonder…Thanks for your comments.
